  1. A while back I bought a couple of #pc104 power supplies, one is just pc104+ and one is pci104.
So I figured what the heck and went for the flashy one first and yup it lights up, connecting it to my pc104 computer it does indeed boot. But I did need to remove the previous battery clip and put in a lower profile one.
The flashy one is rated for 188W which is insanity in this form factor. But it will be handy when I start adding cards and transputers to the stack.

  2. I designed a PC104+ breakout board.
I'll be using this for various experiments and tests, almost certain around transputers.

  4. Just under 2 hours more soldering I have the tens digit that’s working.
On this basis I have about 7 or 8 hours of soldering to complete it.

  5. After just over 2 hours more soldering I have the seconds units working on my mega transistor clock kit.
I also built the reset circuit as sometimes it wouldn’t count up.
Based on this I have about another 10 hours of soldering to complete it. I’ll do more another day.

  6. I have a thing for odd clocks, particularly electronic ones. So my partner bought me a “mega transistor clock” for Xmas and I’ve been building it over the last week. I’ve got to the point where I can see the LEDs flashing once a second.
There are NO ICs on this board, it’s bonkers and huge, but so cool.
