Yes. The #OpenBSD version does not work as-is anywhere else. Basically: either one modifies the code to conditionally-compile out the OpenBSDisms and loses functionality, or one takes the OpenBSDisms out completely and replaces them with sudoisms.

#FreeBSD, #NetBSD, and #Arch Linux have both Smith's and Overbruck's versions; #Debian Linux only the latter; #SmartOS only the former.

I'm traveling next week, and NH Hotel Group sends me an electronic check-in form... okay.... never seen that before. Whatever.
It has two sections(?): Guest Data Form and Additional Data Form.
Both ask for nationality (in different terms). The "Guest Data Form" has United States of America as an option. It does have some positively ridiculous other options though. wtf? 2 are spelled wrong!
And then the rest of the form asks for an address. In the US. Where I haven't lived for nearly a decade.

Unveil is such a cool feature. I wish more kernels had this. Wonder how many credential stealing npm vulnerabilities it will take before Apple adds something like this to replace the long-deprecated seatbelt 😅

New album from The Field: Now You Exist just dropped a few days ago!

I've done a lot of OS upgrades in my life... and I have to say, OpenBSD does it better than any I've ever seen...
Literally just `doas sysupgrade` and bam, you have an updated system 5 mins later. The post-upgrade steps are unsurprisingly straightforward for most systems (https://www.openbsd.org/faq/upgrade79.html).

@CyReVolt So, your post made me wonder if something that I'd lazily put off investigating was easy. Turns out it is 😂 You can almost trivially set up a jail to use a specific branch. I use AppJail, but I think the approach applies to most with minimal effort.

Perfume had a real "wall of sound" in their earlier stuff. Throwback of the day: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zh0ouiYIZc&list=RD8zh0ouiYIZc&start_radio=1.

Coworking buddy recommended this band/album last week and I'm just getting around to it now. Oh man is it great. Don't really know how to describe it but I think you'll like it if you like anything resembling late '90s alternative. This aged super well; excellent sound design, amazing combination of instruments, vocals, ....

@sotolf @hongminhee oh interesting. They seem to work for me fine. For example, #커피 shows real results.

@bart yes! Boris Brejcha is great! If you like him, check out Ann Clue. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5e0xXvPL7yA
Maybe also follow #soundOfTheDay on here. There’s like… 3 people using it right now but it seems like you’d like a good chunk of it.

#soundOfTheDay from one of my favorite DJs - Yotto.
His filmed sets are an absolute treat. Not only is the music great (and this time many unreleased tracks paired with his own remixes of others’ work), his goofy personality really comes out in the videos 🤪
This is probably my favorite of the “very cold DJ set” series already, given that I’ve watched it 3x in the past 24h lol. I’ve also added the location to my bucket list. It’s even well mapped in #openstreetmap!
