#CCHD24 kicked off today at EMBL, with an amazing coincidence: the dates perfectly coincide with the 10 year anniversary of the first Software Carpentry workshop run at EMBL!
We celebrated the anniversary, with thanks to @luispedro and others who hosted/taught in November 2014!
Presenting in the picture is Lisanna Paladin, of the EMBL Bio-IT Project.
Edit: to add the presenter's name.

Yesterday we announced the adoption into the Data Carpentry Ecology curriculum a redesigned version of the "Data Analysis and Visualization in R for Ecologists" lesson! The new lesson lets learners dive into data visualisation much more quickly, letting learners quickly appreciate the benefits of the lesson before learning about data storage, manipulation and analysis as the lesson progresses.
