  8. Continuing on our #LakeDistrict #TrigPoints theme this is the one on Black Fell taken on a rather overcast day. Traditional stone construction and the National Trust have added a plaque naming the fell.

  10. Yesterday's photo of the trig point on the Old Man of Coniston reminded me that we've got lots of photos of #TrigPoints so let's take a look at a few more starting with the one on Binsey. It's a classic #LakeDistrict stone built one, no concrete post here, and still with the benchmark plate attached.
