    Goodbye, Prague! Got on the European Sleeper at 6pm, nearly 2 hours underway now. The wagon I'm in is old, but clean.

    So far, I'm alone in my cabin. I pulled the table from under one of the benches and set it up. Plugged my laptop and phone in, quite workable setup.

    Only downside: no restaurant wagon on this train, so going to order some overpriced instant noodles instead.

    Looking into #syslog server implementations, trying to decide if I should go with #rsyslog or #syslog-ng. Apparently the maintainer (!) of rsyslog is a slop coder (see github.com/rsyslog/rsyslog/pul). Might want to avoid rsyslog in the future, I definitely will.

    Had some proper #ADHD #hyperfocus days recently. Playing with a fanless server I borrowed from $dayjob, installing pfSense in a VM on Debian stable, switching the home WiFi to a Zyxel access point with separate VLANs and SSIDs for my home network and for a VPN connection to my job's development environment.
    I completely forgot to eat yesterday 😅
