I don't use Rust, so I don't really have a dog in this fight, but the potential LLM policy that I read... seemed like about as good as you could get from a project these days? Like yes, the "this is not the issue to discuss ethical concerns" blew up and maybe could have been phrased better, and obviously it would be preferable to ban their use entirely. But "you can only use LLMs in places where we don't have to see or deal with it, like reading code, or in the very rare cases that someone agrees ahead of time to review your horrible slop" seems, on a very cursory read, like a reasonable compromise to keep a codebase clean and the impact on the health of maintainers pretty minimal.

I switched my home screen to use stroked outlines of icons instead of the colored originals today, because half of the icons were the same red/blue/green/yellow combinations, and I found that I would get the wrong one half the time based on color cue instead of shape. We'll see if this is better.
