  11. SQLAlchemy is a powerful tool that lets Python developers define their database schemas using simple classes. I made Paracelsus to turn those SQLAlchemy defined databases into diagrams that can be used to visualize the schema.

  16. @tedivm FFS.

Individual developers should never take the time to sign any contractual agreement unless they are being paid. I hope no-one was foolish enough to do so.

  17. Hey Folks! I'm on the job market and looking for a Principal or Staff role, #Chicago or Remote.

I've been using #AWS since 2008, have extensive experience in half a dozen programming languages (I ❤️ #Python), am writing a book on #Terraform, and have experience ranging from founding engineer to managing a technical org with ~25 people.

I've also got a ton of open source projects - github.com/tedivm/

  19. @elan @tedivm The biggest regression is the elimination of cash; the #warOnCash. AFAICT #Klarna is cashless; unlike the #SafePay card, there is no way to buy a card at a supermarket using cash. So #unbanked ppl are excluded. I would love to open a Klarna acct linked to a temporary bank acct which I then close, rack up a Klarna debt & say to Klarna “where can I pay be debt in legal tender?”

  20. In light of the fact that major broadcasters are lobbying the FCC to force encryption/subscriptions in to standard OTA broadcasts, now is a good time to talk about #DIYTV

  23. I almost can't believe I'm writing this, but after so much work my book, Terraform in Depth, is available for early access!

This book has been a long time in the making. A huge goal of mine was to make this book accessible to new users of Terraform while also providing valuable information for people using Terraform in production.

No seriously- the director of my department reached out after finding my post on mastodon. The Fediverse found me a new job.

If you're using these hashtags and wondering if there's any point I can happily say there is. The engagement on this site is amazing!
