In the first couple of weeks after I moved into this house, there was a shooting at a convenience store a couple of blocks away. Since then, there have been at least four shootings at the same store, most recently a few days ago, a proper shootout with three gunmen (two against one). I'm beginning to think this might not be a nice neighborhood.
That's just the ones I know about. I tried to Google it to get a proper count, but there are so many results going back at least a decade, I gave up.

I used to love beanie weenies when I was a kid, but became a vegetarian when I was 19 and haven't had them since. It just struck me that I have baked beans and I have veggie hot dogs. There's no law preventing me from having vegetarian beanie weenies.
