My fabulous friends at Seattle Bsides Security Conference have a CFP closing NOVEMBER 1, and apparently some of you are STILL sitting there thinking:
- "I'm not experienced enough."
- "Nobody wants to hear about my project."
- "I'll submit something this weekend."
(Not this weekend - Today!!)
Build something brilliant that immediately caught fire?

Discovered that your company's entire security strategy consists of a firewall, three spreadsheets, and positive thinking?

This year's #BSidesSeattle theme is "Human Still Required."
Which is absolutely adorable because I AM A FLAMINGO, and somehow I'm still doing more security awareness training than half the corporate world. 🤷♀️
And don't even get me STARTED on AI.
Everyone's worried about machines replacing humans, meanwhile somebody just emailed their password to a person claiming to be the CEO's emotional support printer. (yes, that happened yesterday)
The #BSides community is where people learn from EACH OTHER. Even the weird ones.
ESPECIALLY THE WEIRD ONES!! 🦩
So get that abstract written and send it to Seattle before NOVEMBER 1.
