Switch 1 and 2 repair prices are increasing in Japan on Nov 16 due to rising part costs.
For example, a repair for the Switch 2 main board is going up from ¥27,500 to ¥37,400 (approx. US$173 to $236).
No word about if this will spread to other regions as of yet.

Version 1.1.0 has been released.
This update adds initial support for the Expansion Pass.
Wave 1 is out now, while Wave 2 will be released this holiday and Wave 3 will be released in 2027.

A new feature, "Fairy Messages", has been added.
These markers will appear in various places across Hyrule. Inspect them to have Navi read it.
Navi: "'The tree shook and something fell, right? You shouldn't think that's just a coincidence...'"

The Niconico Switch 1 app will also shut down on Mar 31. This app was not supported on S2.

Niconico, a Japanese video sharing site, will not release a Switch 2 version of their app due to the "service rollout policy"(?) and "various requirements" associated with the platform.
An executive stated that it isn't something they can "do on their own".

Version 4.0.1 has been released.
This update fixes an issue where Switch 2 players would see additional course obstacles/hazards that don't exist on Switch 1 when playing online.
It also fixes some other bugs and crashes.
