I have the opposite question. I have a new-to-me bike I’m setting up and it has schrader wheels. All my spare tubes are presta, which I prefer. It has 8 gears in the back and the bike I’m replacing has 9 so I can’t just swap wheels. I bought a little gadget that inserted into the hole in the wheel to narrow it down to presta size. But it was rubber and just popped out. It may be hopeless since the wheels are narrow.
Has anyone had luck with this kind of thing? There were a couple other gadgets on the internet and one was aluminum, which I might try.
