  1. I consider LLMs a good tool for doing things you don't really care about or just want to get done, e.g., writing a one-off powershell script.

    Anything serious should generally avoid LLM involvement. At the very least, LLMs shouldn't be directly involved in producing the work, and should serve as a quick rough reference instead.

  2. If you do care about code quality then I'm afraid LLMs won't help you get it done faster or better. You'd spend more time either on prompt engineering or on reviewing and fixing it yourself. You'd find out that it doesn't save you any time or make anything better than writing it manually, while donating all your money to the token vendors!

    Maybe that could be slightly better, but I don't know if that's worth the cost of millions of tokens, or the compensation for the emotional damage caused by the hallucinations and stupidity of LLMs.
