  1. @lisavogtsf I usually use #GetFediHired, which seems to be consistent. Last time I made a post someone also suggested #HachyJobs

  2. Edit: can we get home EV chargers shared with other users?

Trying to solve my own problem and also trying to find existing solutions online discourse.

Can you help me think about this or point at existing solutions/conversations?

    Hypothesis:
    1. for owners of plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEV) without dedicated home/work charging it’s already hard to find available (convenient) charging stations. (Most cannot use the high speed DC chargers)
    2. if gas prices continue to rise, it will encourage PHEV users to seek more charging over gasoline usage.
    3. Most people with home EV chargers have lots of available time when they are not charging.
    4. A potential solution would be to find a trusted way to connect home EV charging (particularly combined with home solar during the day) with PHEV users.

What are the barriers? Is this model working anywhere?

  8. Does anyone know if sharing home EV chargers (with compensation for the folks who own and share their charging setup) is actually working anywhere?

I see apps for the UK and Canada, but I can’t tell if they are a going concern — with many social posts dating to 2022.

  10. It looks like the lostlevels.net website is no longer running, but I bet someone will make #LostLevels happen at #GDC.

Thursday at noon-ish outside GDC in the little amphitheater in the Yerba Buena Park. Someone starts a list and folks give lightening talks. It’s glorious.

Here’s an ode to Lost Levels from 2019: rockpapershotgun.com/lost-leve

  11. I won’t be around for #LostLevels at #GDC but I hope the unconference/open space/lightening talks still happen!

  12. There’s a lot going on right now. And I can still be annoyed at perfunctory administrative tasks—like signing a form to acknowledge a receipt of a thing “Don’t worry, we’ll give it to you at the end of the appointment”. So why am I signing to affirm that I’ve received it??

  13. In that in between time where there’s tons of weekend time, killing a little of it before I start my chores, and soon I will be rushing to get it all done. Consequences of my own distraction. #mundaneMusings

  16. End of year admin day. Trying to do lots of sorting of email and unsubscribing. Cancelling of subscriptions I’m not 100% excited about. Boring but satisfying.

  17. Caught a moment of this recent podcast project about the Metropolitan Community Church of San Francisco on KQED and the full run is available here. “When We All Get to Heaven.”

MCC is a pioneering church that affirmatively embraces Christianity AND queerness, and this series draws on recordings of MCC services from the 80s and 90s—heavily influenced by the AIDS crisis.

  22. Wondering what prompted me to write:

“The sacredness of our mutual need”

at the top of a crossword several weeks ago. Still profound—and I guess I don’t have much paper around?
