My husband just discovered this YouTube channel called Allens Alliance and shared it with me. Will Bunch’s column today highlighted a term that I hadn’t heard before: neighborism. He defined it as “the powerful reaction from often non-political Americans” to the thuggery of ICE, people standing up for others in their community in a way they never have before. It’s an interesting column and worth a read.

Radio station 91.7 KXT played Mississippi John Hurt’s “definitive” version of “Stack O Lee” which has been re-made many times (with versions named “Stagger Lee”, “Stagolee”, etc.) and led me down a rabbit hole to the cosmic horror novella “My Heart Struck Sorrow” by John Hornor Jacobs and now apparently I must find a copy of “A Lush and Seething Hell.”

1) I mailed out a batch of letters I wrote for Vote Forward’s voter registration campaign.
2) I paid less than $2.50/gal for gasoline.
3) I got my Walmart and Costco run done before traffic got bad. -
