6. Password doesn't work, though I tested it on the site and it works there.

I was able to get Codex to grab all the pCM data out of AT&T Mike, it presented me with some 2080 files, over 5 hours. This is what he sounds like raw.

I should also add that thanks to the fantastic idea from @ednun_p, both Music and speech have context-sensitive help. Press F1 on *any* control for a little info about it. There's an option in that dialog to open the full manual as well.
After seeing ed's REMSound do this, I thought I really have to do this for my apps going forward, so that's my plan. -

Swapped out two of my fans for Noctua and yeah. That has made a vast difference in noise levels. £12 per-fan but I regret nothing.

Once knew a guy that swore up and down that he'd only ever use gold-plated *optical* cable, because it, 'carried the sound better.'
