Most of us were part of a sub culture growing up, right? In my case I came of age in the UK during the 90s and perhaps unsurprisingly - for me it was rave; Helter Skelter, Dreamscape, white gloves, glow sticks, tape packs, reach for the lasers. I strongly remember John Major's government doing a massive crack down because of what happened at Castlemorton Common. They used propaganda to cast ravers as "new age travellers" trying to make them seem like deviant versions of hippies from the 1960s. They were just random citizens. I remember John Major on the TV saying "Not in this age. Not in any age". Why am I bringing this up now?
