No bus stops, because then we might be incentivized to address the housing crisis, whoch would decrease the value of our homes by increasing supply / affordability
Or something idk "abundance" is a canard to avoid talking about the perverse capitalistic incentives shaping society and creating scarcity to maximize the rate of return on investments... It's getting to the point that it's just rent-seeking all the way down, and no one with power is incentivized to recognize it — let alone fix it

Drugs targeting nuclear protein subtypes are neat cuz they can focus on direct transcriptional impact while limiting immediate ionotropic/metabotropic effects... Sometimes you're more focused on long-term transcriptional adaptions than acute effects

Not sure where "vanity spacecraft / submarine project" goes on the list, cuz that's more nation-state level wealth? Like, we let the oligarchs get so rich we have Rockefellers etc again... Not even a class, more like an exclusive collection of robber-barons

Hobbies which double as class signifiers include:
Yachting
Polo (requires multiple horses)
Having dinner with Jeffrey Epstein

The human capacity for self-delusion is something we should study more tbh
Meta-emotional regulation/coping via backflips. "I'm the good guy, actually. Taxes are THEFT! Everyone else is jealous/would do the same in my shoes." Etc etc. Just avoiding introspection / conscious understanding of the self, while perversely centering yourself while reckoning the morality of your excesses. "You can't convince a man of something his paycheck requires that he not believe," but you're picking sycophants
