  1. After a few days exploring and writing some , I am intrigued and see myself using it more in the future. Unfortunately, the openbsd zig build is not able to do incremental compilation, and on my *very* small system, compilation of a simple program is taking about 10s. On my more modern linux box, it's near instant. This is a local constraint of my workstation project, and not a real deficiency in zig, IMO.

May be time for me to turn my silence nuc into a more powerful openbsd workstation..

  2. Dinner was bread made by my wife’s coworker, and two kinds of Jasper Hill cheese (Willoughby and BayleyHazen), along with our house Black currant jam, cabot butter and cheddar, pepperoni and some local honey.
