  1. @chrisafk we are going to require something else here, I think.

BTW, have you considered polls only for local users? We at #fcz achieve this by using followers-only account, which follow back only local users... this gives you magic of local-only polls.

  2. @emanuel

Nice! I got the charcoal one, with glass side. It will become my content creation and fun for the living room. Dual boot and will first test bazzite.gg/ :bazzite:

Have a hunch I end up rarely having to boot into Windows 😝

  3. Browser based password managers are really convenient but they can feel a little less than secure at times. A nice idea might be accepting a Yubikey or similar device as a login-time credential that is both fast and a little more secure than a password.

Does anyone know if any browsers implement something like this that *isnt* just a password?

  4. , , The Minimal Company, .

What do all these companies have in common? Really interesting product lineups without the security standards offered by .

    Its a darn shame.

  5. Unpopular Fediverse idea: Let Mastodon & other fediverse platforms offer optional ads. No user data involved. Advertisers pick interest-based instances for relevance. Charge per view (cheap) or unique viewer (expensive); owners control which ads run. This boosts self-sufficiency, covering costs without forcing ads. Instances can stay ad-free; users can pay directly (e.g., Patreon) to opt out of ads. Keeps platforms independent & owners sustained.

  6. It really bugs me that Falkon is stuck with a fairly out of date feature set. Its such a great browser in the making, all the bones are there... That is one thing KDE doesn't have: A solid browser. There are certain features that just seem like common sense now, which are not integrated. Sadly its reliance on QtWebEngine does place quite a few limitations on what can be done. Especially as far as add-ons are concerned.

  7. It would be really nice to be able to import/export word filters on . Not sure why this functionality isn't there. Perhaps a feature request is in order.

  8. Welp, I don't know why does what it does, but is cooked. What are some non-Firefox, and non-Chromium based browsers which are reasonably usable? ? ? (yeah I'm giving Qt WebEngine a pass but what other choice do I have?)

I wish devs could just do things that are cool, but they seem complacent and stubborn. In my ideal world Palemoon would align itself with FOSS and we'd all use it.
