I see Save the Parish are embarrassing themselves in the Church Times again.

Just got in to a plethora of messages, voice mails and emails on my work phone.
So.......that's an embarrassing mishap on my behalf. A meeting I called that I've missed because my brain thinks it's Tuesday and I read the wrong day of my diary....

Had to shop in Wickes. Trolleys needed a pound I didn't have and they do not provide baskets.
Grabbed a bucket on my way round and filled it with what I needed. At the till I asked them not to ring the bucket up but asked for a bag. Was offered bag for £1.50, bucket was ticketed at £1. So in the end I didn't take a bag and got a bonus bucket.
What sort of world is it where a bucket is cheaper than a bag?

One of the things about having a large family is that the school run era goes on seemingly forever.
I've been doing some form of school drop off since September 2005 not counting preschool.
Wax5 is starting her GCSE year, so we are now approaching our final year and is in a school specialising in neuro-diverse education so things are a wee bit easier than the daily grind of the trad school.
But I shan't be sad to see the end of the school run years.
