  1. @CSSence @mariusor

    I use Chawan as it's a very good Gopher client, and enables me to view html, gemini and spartan protocols without leaving the browser. No it's not perfect, there is an awful number of crappy web sites out there, however there are quite a few that are good. Check out the #smolweb.

  3. “Baseline widely available” is a good thing to look out for when it comes to CSS features, but given that my blog’s core audience uses the latest browsers, I just went all in and made my new design the default.

  4. I could’ve written a simple article about the `color-scheme` property. I could’ve written a simple article about the `light-dark()` function.

    But nooo.

    I had to nerd out and write about nesting color schemes. 🙄

  9. In case you are wondering why I’m relatively silent in 2025 (especially compared to last year), no reason.

    At the moment I’m still having “fun” with the Popover API, I’ve just filed a Firefox issue:

  20. 😆 Ah, the #nostalgia of text-based browsers! This writer's love letter to #Lynx and #w3m is a trip down memory lane, where CSS is a four-letter word and *JavaScript* is a myth. 🚀 Spoiler: They don't matter, but hey, enjoy your pixelated, featureless web, grandpa! 🔍
