@0xD34DF15h #balkanization: Ideally, you separate private and job accounts and use different strategies or platforms according to the required security and safety degrees. I use LinkedIn and an M$ O365 for work, but I can do nothing about it. I want to end up with one job and one private microblogging service. E.g., #Mastodon (I like it much more) for private, and #BlueSky for business. Or maybe just one private #Mastodon account and nothing more 😉. I'll test and post about my experience.

I'm still using my old #Google #Pixel 4a 5G as my daily driver. Due to security concerns I'm going to flash a custom #ROM. Question is: Which one?
Currently I'm considering either #Pixelbuilds or #LineageOS 23 (with #Android 16).I need banking apps to work and would love to be able to use #GPay. Also, my battery lasts about 1-1.5 days and I'd love to keep it that way.
What would you do?

Migrating away from #Spotify has taken away the #DailyDrive play list from my morning routine (or way to my workplace). #Deezer doesn't offer such a thing and my plan to simply do it myself - since I'm a coder and that's what we do, right? - was halted apruptly after various smaller issues when I had to accept the fact that #Deezer simply doesn't support podcast episodes within playlists.
At least I had some fun coding this stuff. Still should have checked the capabilities first :blobcatpats: -

I don't understand all these postings about #GenZ in the professional world. It's just taking cranial measurements of an entire #generation. It's nice that we can find more pigeonholes into which we can squeeze ourselves and those around us. How else would we know what another person is like and how they think if we couldn't determine them precisely based on their generational affiliation.
On the one hand, #prejudices should be reduced, on the other hand, we are lumping people together. -
Bis heute Morgen konnte ich noch das Leben ohne Verpflichtungen genießen und – das muss man sich vorstellen – am selben Tag (!) melden sich sowohl mein mir bis dato unbekannter Sohn als auch meine mir bis dato unbekannte Tochter, weil sie beide plötzlich neue Handynummern haben bei mir, damit ich sie bei WhatsApp einspeichern kann.

Finished #AlanWake including its two bonus episodes again. After a little bit more than ten year it finally hit like the first time.
But again, what a huuuge I'm not sure if we should play #AmericanNightmare again, as far as I remember it wasn't that good imho.
Unfortunately I didn't like the trailer for part 2 that much. But then again, I don't have a PC available that would run it, so it's actually irrelevant as of today, lol. -
