UnrealIRCd 6.2.5 release & hot-patch for IPv6 networks ❗
This release improves IPv6 clone detection. If your IRC network has IPv6 connectivity then hot-patching without restart or upgrading is highly recommended. If you don't have IPv6 then this release is less important.

In short: if you are on 6.2.x and your IRC network has IPv6 then run:
./unrealircd hot-patch ipv6-clones -
Building #unrealircd for linking a new #BNET node into our IRC network! The network shall grow!
I am also going to end up peering it over #CRXN to my lockdown.bnet node. The #ccc (#ColumbusCoffeePot) project will have its own IRC server just for this.

#IRC server https://irc.linux.lt/ was upgraded to #UnrealIRCd version 6.2.3. In the meantime, test environment runs 6.2.4.
I maintain few stable releases as container images at https://quay.io/repository/kareiva/unrealircd?tab=tags
Those images have certbot support (for macvlan) and are based on #CentOS Stream (because it's always nice to see good security scan results)
Slowly dropping support for .deb based distros - if anyone would like, 'd be happy to undo this.

I worked on a small lightweight Python-based Flask-using web app that exposes the internal state (to a certain degree) of the unrealircd IRC daemon via its wwwstats module.
The v1.0.0 release of #OpenBNET is here and it only took a week (with many beach breaks inbetween) to put together as a small vacation project.
