  1. @ttscoff what are you using to edit #nvAlt notes on the iOS side? The apps I was using became so unreliable for Dropbox sync that I built my own:
https//zoziapps.ch/notefolder (I’d love to send you some promo codes if you’d like)

  2. @ttscoff It’s gotten so bad that I have a #BBEdit Text Factory just to clean up #AI-generated #Markdown

  7. @[email protected] Heard you like Tower, I too love Tower and have been using it for years - but recently I stumbled over gitbutler.com/ which is super awesome - virtual branches are sooo nice!

  8. @ttscoff Hi Brett. I *really* like #Marked for PDF conversion and printing and I regularly recommend it to people, but I find myself using #Pandoc or #iAWriter for exporting to .docx because they convert markdown H1, H2, etc. into Word’s native heading levels.

Is it possible to add that functionality to Marked, and have you considered doing so?

  9. @ttscoff Basically, given this is about the #AttentionEconomy, we get to be RobinHood and friends, by spending relatively more time on Mastodon than Twitter — #ZeroCode (i.e., sans hacking)

  10. Read @[email protected] blog about & it reminded me of times I’ve kicked off crazy ambitious projects while before crashing into and failing to follow through. I once applied for a director level job & reached the final stage before crashing, and had an intensely awkward time in front of a hall full of people when I could barely string a sentence together

  12. Hi @ttscoff , I read somewhere that Marked2 can convert docx-->md? Is that correct, or just md-->docx?

I use #markdown to write content to post into my #evolveauthoring #eLearning courses, but I have to convert to docx to collab within my org (to get revisions, etc). I've been using @pandoc to convert back, but it's a more manual process now that #Pandoctor for alfredapp.com is deprecated. Would love a simpler workflow.

  16. I just won a license of Monodraw [1] from @ttscoff's giveaway [2]!

Monodraw is a very snappy piece of software, and it is great for creating diagrams that need to fit into a text-only environment.

  21. If you are a Mac user and also use #Alfred and the #Bunch app by @ttscoff , you might be able to help me test a new Alfred workflow I've been putting together.

I've shared the details on the #Automators forum.
