    @totoroot Yeah.

    I got my fair share from that.

    While riding my #bike to the Volleyball training, I got into very heavy rain, thunderstorm as well as hail. 😞

    Because none of that was part of the #weather forecast, I had inappropriate shoes (feet were swimming in water), rain protection trousers weren't able to protect any more, rain jacket kept dry but water came through the openings.

    Soaking wet all over.

    After the training, I had to put on all the wet stuff for riding home. Not very pleasant experience today.

    I created a script that helps me audit packages installed via     nix profile as I often do that before adding them to my system configuration ❄️

    I then tend to forget to remove them after I installed them via my system configuration (as systemPackages or via     #HomeManager).

    With this script I can later on audit all packages installed, check which binaries they provide and automatically remove them if they were found in my PATH somewhere else.

    what's your take on KDE linux?
    I came to NIXOS via ihp.digitallyinduced.com/
    But that only needs nix. Nix and Haskell is a cool combo imho.
    But for a daily driver a stable and immutable OS is precisely what is needed. And the final version will be just right for non-technical people who I care for within EndOf10.

    I use the web interface and Thunderbird at homr and an Android app on the go, but I can imagine that the web interface would be fine to use in a browser on your Librem 5 as well.
    This option requires a Nextcloud server on which the notes are stored as Markdown or txt files

    @sotneStatue Not to say that installing Linux on a device that was made by Microsoft, a computer that was basically a glorified tablet and had only one USB port, was a smooth experience.

    I had ton of problems with drivers back then running OpenSUSE.

    I learned a ton in a short period of time and got myself a nice old Lenovo when I came back home.

    But in Cambodia enabled me to do my work in peace and my updates at the coffee shop, when I had stable, unlimited internet.

    I have a removable HDD that was encrypted using .

    Whenever I attach it to my Linux desktop it gets decrypted after I enter the password.
    I'm using for disk management.
    After decryption it gets mapped to `/run/media/<username>/<some-uuid>`.

    However this UUID changes by one digit every time I attach and decrypt the disk.

    Can someone tell me why this happens and how to assign a fixed mount point?
