Calling this done. Nostromo inspired corridor. Built in Blender.

Sci-Fi Corridor, Blender practice. Based on the Nostromo, without being an exact copy. Building it a section at a time. Single section. repeated here just to see how it's looking. Lots more gubbins and atmosphere to add obviously.

@thisnorthernboy oh! Hello, Zone X’s lighthouse!
It would be a bit too on the nose for the cover, but a set of cards for the entire series would be astounding

‘Gone Fishing’ remains one of the most joyous little TV shows. Slow, comfortable, funny, and the British countryside looking bloody wonderful.

There's also a digital colouring book to go with it. You can colour the spaceships digitally, or print them out and colour with pencils or pens.

Did you know you could buy a digital copy of my book 'Weird Field World'?
It's a mix of world building, fiction, maps, illustrations, detailing a future where earth receives messages from the stars, which turn out to be instructions for building spaceships.

Tidy image of my office/studio. It very rarely looks like this. I have way more books than I have shelves for, so they are stacked all around. And when I'm working, well, just about everything gets covered in paper.

Great short film from Mark Button, made in Blender. Absolutely giddying race sequence.
-
'Enys Men' sounds like it'll be right up my alley.
-
Progress. Lot's still unfinished, plenty to fix, lots more to figure out.
-
Weird Field spaceship progress. I quite like the plastic look of the model without any texture added. Just makes me want to build a kit of it, or make it out of Lego.
-
Starting to build a Weird Field spaceship in Blender.

Most people who follow me here and elsewhere, will know of my book - Weird Field World. It's a mix of written fiction & spaceship illustrations based in a future where earth receives messages from the stars.
You can now read the first 14 pages for free.

I finally managed to track down a hardcopy of Rob Turpin's (@thisnorthernboy) #WeirdFieldWorld and it's so much more than I expected.
I bought it for the gorgeous and detailed ship drawings, but the world building around them is phenomenal. In relatively few words and short stories the whole WFW universe comes alive with possibilities and (unfortunately) unanswered questions.
If you like this kind of thing, I highly recommend it.

If you like my recent sketchbook spaceships, you might like my book, Weird Field World, and the colouring book that accompanies it. Both are available to buy digitally…

And you can currently buy digital copies of my book, Weird Field World, here…
