1) First post-op meeting yesterday. Everything looks good. Expectation is it will be another 2-3 months before full healing.
2) Got the okay to walk the dog. Took her for a 3+ mile walk today. Everything was fine.
3) The doc said that I could go to a spa, swim, etc. in another week or two.
4) Bonus: two weeks ago, my physical therapist worked the hip flexor and upper thigh tendons too hard. They are finally working again without any issues.

1) My mesh bandage fell off 3 weeks after surgery. No bruising and just minor swelling around the incision spot.
2) A friend, our dog, and I walked for an hour around the neighborhood after home PT. I feel great.
3) Had Chinese takeout (Pad Thai chicken and Asparagus Chicken with garlic and ginger. It was delicious! 😋

Hi All, The left hip replacement surgery went really well and the surgeon was pleased with the results. I am home now and the pain levels are currently at or below what I was dealing with.
