Thanks for sharing about #shinobi, I wasn't aware of this. If you are thinking about site navigation, some #gopher clients, like #elpher has URL detection, and even URL in plain-text is highlited and accesible by browser key bindings.
I've never tried, but it's Elpher branch with HTTP support, so maybe it will fit your shinobi site.

If you look at most of the hate-mongering websites on the internet, they are Cf. Its a weapon.
There are many examples of their systems (and a few others) blocking legitimate access to sites on a large scale (with no exceptions). Fine if it's the domain owner's choice, but it often isn't.

PyPI Package Compromised in Supply Chain Attack
The popular PyPI package lightning experienced a supply chain attack affecting versions 2.6.2 and 2.6.3, published on April 30, 2026. The compromise introduced malicious code that executes automatically upon module import, downloading Bun JavaScript runtime and executing an 11MB obfuscated payload. The attack harvests credentials including GitHub tokens, npm tokens, cloud credentials from AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, while targeting CI/CD environments. The malicious code poisons GitHub repositories by injecting backdoored files impersonating Claude Code commits and infects local npm packages through tarball manipulation. The attack shows similarities to previous Shai-Hulud campaigns in terms of credential targeting and obfuscation methods. Evidence suggests the maintainer's GitHub account (pl-ghost) was compromised, with suspicious branch operations and disclosure suppression indicating ongoing attacker control. A few years ago, I tried setting up Guix System on WSL2. I succeeded after going through obscure GitHub issues and gists. Eventually, I stopped tinkering with it due to lack of time, but I'm happy to say that if I wanted to try again it's relatively easy to get a working Guix System on WSL2 with or without a working guix!
Arian Dehghani explains in his blog [2] that Guix provides an image builder for WSL2 such that you can install Guix on WSL2 simply by importing a (suspicious) pre-built tarball [1]!
