In Kürze wird darüber entschieden, ob 3sat und arte im Rahmen der Reform der öffentlich-rechtlichen Sender zusammengelegt werden sollen. Das wäre nicht nur eine Katastrophe für 3sat sondern auch für Kunst und Kultur in der deutschen Medienlandschaft im Allgemeinen. Went to the doctor yesterday because of an annoying buzzing in my right ear and partial loss of hearing... looks like I'm suffering from "acute hearing loss". (It sound better in German: Hörsturz=hearing collapse)
That probably means I won't be able to teach until Christmas, I won't be able to lead the upcoming Christmas concert and even listening to or practicing music is out of question. 😡

The name of the band seems like they are going for shock value, but the opposite is the case. The songs are really well crafted and keenly focused on sound. Often they seem straighforward at first but then take an unexpected turn along the way. This is one of those albums I can put right back on after it's over.
