   While an AI chatbot and a human might communicate in the same language there is a huge difference. AI uses predictive text. Humans choose words based on the meaning the words have for us. The meaning of a word is tied to our experience, our memories and our physical neurology.

   Example: a dentist chair, your favorite chair

   Are each just a chair? An object you sit on?

   My guess is you can viscerally feel the difference between the two.

   An AI chatbot can tell you the difference but it can never “know” the difference. The chatbot has no sensors or mechanism to feel the fear of one or the comfort of the other. Humans intimately know the difference. How can #AI ever be “sentient” if it can’t ever feel the difference?

   To all those who want to just sit this one out and not vote because you don’t want to hold your nose and vote for someone because they don’t represent your views or they are playing the politics game and you just don’t want to be involved in all that or your values are too important, just remember people fought and died so you could vote or not. If you keep sitting it out, there will come a time when there is no longer an option to vote. None. No voice, no vote, no democracy. If you believe so strongly then fight! Run for office, help someone who is running for office, go to town halls, speak up. Don’t sit back and complain about what others are fighting for. Vote and hold the winner accountable. Don’t think they won’t come for you just because you didn’t vote. You like authoritarian government? Don’t vote. You’ll get one. It is your fault if you don’t vote. You are a citizen and as a citizen you are responsible for upholding our democracy. #vote

   I believe that if we could read every religious text and take in everything ever written, thought, discussed, debated, or believed about God, we would never know God, only what humans think and believe about God and what a God is or isn’t.

   The mere attempt at conceptualizing a force that could be God limits God to only being what human knowledge and neurology can know. Religious doctrine defines and limits the undefinable and must be rejected.
