If anyone is looking for a great #winter cycling commuter tire, after two weeks I am whole-heartedly recommending the 45nrth xerxes 700cx30. It's studded and it channels through the snow to get them studs into anything solid beneath you. Haven't lost traction yet* and it has been very slippery and snow and icey out there.

As a cyclist, I don't want to think everyone on the road is stupid, but I *have* to.
I will lose every collision, so I have to assume that everyone is going to do the stupidest possible thing so that I can make pre-emptive escape plans accordingly.
