We have similar concierge practices here like this that carefully write their contracts to charge memberships and bill Medicare and insurers as well. They're expensive.
However US docs can simply cancel our contracts with insurers and "opt out" of Medicare so we can use a simpler, less expensive model, #directprimarycare , #dpc

Hey! It’s @robsonfletcher on CBC talking grid storage in Alberta. This is an area Alberta needs to push ahead on so it’s good to hear it getting some attention.
Edit: Good little piece although I’m disappointed he didn’t mention pumped hydro at all, just batteries. Pumped hydro is old tech and the most efficient storage we can build but everyone seems to be focussing on batteries.

We visited Jasper last week. Our 2-year-old said tonight: “I don’t want the fire in Jasper. I want to go back to Jasper.” He was so sad.
I thought I would be too.
