Yes, I use a #lighttheme for #programming most of the time.
What hurts is having a painful mixture of light and dark, or sudden shifts between the two; e.g. light theme in a very dark room, dark theme in a light room, or alt/cmd-tabbing between light & dark screens.
In the day I work in a well-lit room with light-coloured walls, and almost all apps have a light theme, so light is generally best for me.
Dark theme is for late-night coding lit by just a table lamp.

A lot of what the President is doing is unconstitutional or at the very least in a vast grey area. We don't have a king but it seems the Congress is content to allow the President to act like one.

Interested to read Rob Johnson's piece on #LSEImpactBlog - arguing that non-profit #OA publishing should not be expected to be cheaper (unless done at small-scale with lots of volunteer labour and in-kind support) - and so will need support so it can reach the scale that _will_ enable cost-savings. In other words, don't argue that going non-profit #OA will be cheaper. Argue that it is the Right Thing to do.
