Nifty little OPensource Tool #PDFArranger
Lets you combine multiple PDFS into one, or cut some pages. Very easy GUI.
Debian has it in its standard repositories

#qpdf 12.3.1 has been released with a fix, #pdfarranger should be working fine with any qpdf except 12.3.0 (as long as it isn't too old 😉 )

#qpdf 12.3.0 was released a week ago and it looks like there is an incompatibility or bug which renders PDF Arranger useless (you can't save your results).
Workaround: Downgrade (or don't upgrade) your qpdf. The flatpak should also work fine if that is an option for you.
qpdf is a great library and well maintained by the way, I'm sure we'll have this resolved very soon.

In my experience Libreoffice Draw breaks a lot of PDFs. It allows editing them tho.
Instead what I use
- #PDFArranger to combine, cut and change order
- #Firefox to add text and images ("signatures")
- #GIMP to really blacken pages (export as JPG and use in PDFArranger)
- #Okular to fill out forms, read and markNot great to have so many in parallel but this works.

There is a known bug that surfaced when running #pdfarranger on linux with Python 3.13.4 (latest Python update released last week).

Entweder ist der #PdfArranger unter #Linux Mist oder ich bin zu doof ihn zu bedienen.
Ich habe im #Browser 3 Grafiken.
Ich kopiere die und füge die per Paste ein. Ergebnis auf dem Bildschirm: drei Seiten, heißen aber jedesmal Seite 1. Drucke ich das, bekomme ich 3x die erste Grafik gedruckt.
Füge ich eine neue Seite ein, dann ist die leer. Aber eine eingefügte Grafik wird dann nicht auf der Seite, sondern nur dahinter eingefügt. 😖
Irgendwelche Ideen, wie ich das gelöst bekomme?

Are you using #pdfarranger on #windows and your language setting entails a #nonlatinalphabet ?
Then the 1.11.1 release is for you! It is a workaround for a severe performance bug which was reported by several users.All other users can safely skip this release.
