Thank you for the tips!
The Vibram 5 fingers look absolutely fabulous! I really love my 5 finger socks, but when it comes to shoes my toes morphology is a bit peculiar. My second and third toes are longer than my big toe. Over time with regular shoes they both became crooked, but the #minimalistShoes are freeing them again and I am starting to feel the lack of space already with 5F socks, even though they stretch a bit. I believe 5F #barefootShoes will be even shorter for toes. -
@nowster @geekysteven I am fed up with microbreweries only selling xPAs and mostly from nitrokegs, calling it "fresh beer" - I usually end up drinking lager in those places. For people in #Hampshire in the UK I can recommend these breweries which brew real ale other than citrusy xPAs:-

@nowster @sbhnlou Yep Crosby is flat but can be tough depending on how the sand is. It's a third sand, running past Bing and his friends (Anthony Gormleys statues), along the prom and then grass. If it's high tide we have an alternative route. #crosbyparkrun #parkrun #parkrunuk #running

Watching "Call My Bluff" from 1974 on #BBCFour, and on a modern flat screen LCD TV the technical quality of the picture (mostly focus problems and lens aberrations) is really shown up. Nobody would have noticed on the TV sets of the time.

Disappointed in the BBC2 "University Challenge at 60" documentary not mentioning, even in passing, its origin in the US show "College Bowl" or acknowledging the long serving announcer Jim Pope (or Dom Murray-Henderson before him) whilst having a section on Roger Tilling. They did however seem to have a full copy of the original Granada version of the theme (Derek New's College Boy). #uktv #BBCTV

Attempting RED January for a second year. A good start so far: parkrun yesterday and a relaxed 10km today. My own rules are that for it to count I must run for a minimum of ten minutes each day.
That I could also benefit from losing a couple of kg accumulated over the last few months is neither here nor there.
