Interesting experience today walking through Devizes: skidded on a patch of black ice as I stepped out to cross the road, landed on my rump with my right leg badly twisted, knee & ankle very painful. Managed to haul myself back onto the pavement on my elbows, lay there for a while pondering the meaning of life & wondering how I’d get home. At least half a dozen cars drove by, none slowed down or stopped to offer help. Eventually clambered to my feet & hobbled home…

Millionaires in government are not public servants: they are social parasites, taking from the public purse when they could be working to end poverty.
