#Pachli Current now highlights the hashtags you follow. Within a post any hashtags you follow are shown in bold. The info area above a post shows a hash-marker and the first followed tag in the post.
This helps answer the "Why is this post in my timeline?" question.
The attached screenshot shows an example with the #mastodev hashtag.
Thanks to @neatnit, @_nibbles, and @quaff for the suggestions about this.

Need a new laptop soon. Just ordered a #SteamDeck for this purpose, now all I need is a #lapdock!
I've heard of #NexDock and #uperfect, but neither is available to order in my region and I might have to go with whatever fake brand I find on Amazon. If anyone has any experience or tips to share here, I'd love to hear it!

@Techaltar On Android I use #URLCheck: https://github.com/TrianguloY/URLCheck
On desktop, with Firefox, I select the URL, right-click and choose "Copy clean link".
More convenient than doing it manually, especially when copying a link with a timestamp!

@TheLastOfHisName Have you tried GE-Proton? It's supposed to have better compatibility overall. Heroic Launcher #heroicgameslauncher can install it directly to the right place in Steam, which is probably the most user friendly way to install it.
Disclaimer: no personal experience, just stuff I've heard around.

@zachweinersmith.bsky.social I totally disagree. It helps me a lot.
I haven't read books in a very long time and a friend talked me into giving #Mistborn a try. The #GraphicAudio version is fantastic, and really helped me get into it.
There's a lot of other factors but at the end of the day I guess we're looking for different things from (audio)books.

@constancies The only truly good thing in the Proton ecosystem is #SimpleLogin, which isn't even developed by Proton. They just bought it up. And you can use it with any other email provider anyway.

@lolow First of all, good luck!
I believe OsmCha can be used to catch things like this, but I don't have experience with this.
However I know a lot about importing bus stops to OSM: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Gtfs2osm
This is a script that I run every day to update OSM with any new data from GTFS in Israel. It works pretty well, if I do say so myself! If you want, we can try to adapt it to your region and GTFS feed.

What domain registrar do people recommend? I have a .net domain via #NetworkSolutions (#domain.com) which works fine but they did a dick move to my friend and I want to move to somewhere more trustworthy.
#domain #registrar #net #internet #hosting #SelfHosting #com

If I've never seen the codebase, which #Linux shell has the easiest code to read and understand? Specifically I want to isolate the code for *parsing* the command line syntax.
All #POSIX-compliant (or close enough) shells welcome! I probably don't know them all but off the top of my head:
#bash
#dash
#fish (sorry for the spam, marine life enthusiasts)
#zsh
#ksh
#tcsh & #csh I think? -
Just ran my first test import of bus stops to OSM! https://osmcha.org/changesets/155821743

@xmanmonk I know this is more than you signed up for, but The Lounge is a great web-based IRC client/"bouncer". If you can self-host or someone you trust can host it for you, it's a great option. Add a shortcut to your home screen and it works just like an app.
I am fortunate enough, one trusted member of a small community I chat in, hosts an instance and lets me use it as much as I want.

@[email protected] @Metamedia I came from the future to tell you: this idea has become very popular recently! https://strangeobject.space/@esther/109866076826121454 (after being boosted by @feditips)
Although I have to side with you, #Errophant is *clearly* superior to #Errorphant.
-
@[email protected] I love it! But #Errophant (without the last r) is clearly the way to go.
(Sorry for adding to the sea of mentions!)

@DavidRHel @Vivaldi @luetage I know this is old, but #Discord works well for me in a #WebPanel. Use the address https://discord.com/app for the web panel and keep it set to use the mobile version!

@neatnik 🌟 I am ✨ SOO ✨ hyped for DNS Kitchen -- especially with support for #DNSControl planned!

Another fediverse related Signal Chat sticker set added to #FediMerch - the @neatnik mascot, Prami. These are free to download.
