   In South Africa, a father reportedly killed three alleged carjackers in a shootout while protecting his two children. As the family was leaving their yard, a white vehicle blocked their way. One attacker allegedly held a gun to the son's head at the gate while another opened fire.
   The father returned fire from inside his car, killing one attacker at the scene. The other two fled but later died from their wounds.
