  1. @mdstevens0612 @kate sadly, Nintendo is notorious for not offering anything close to accessibility options in many of its games, or applying pressure to developers to include them in games on its platforms

This is not only me moaning as an old fart with poor dexterity and reflexes, but an old fart who's short-sighted and #colourblind

I've been gaming since the 1980s, and it saddens me that it's getting harder and harder as I get older

  2. @mdstevens0612 I mean maybe fewer dead birds ya know 😂

plenty of talk about dead birds around here already #rimshot

  3. This right here is the "draw the rest of the fucking owl" of math

  4. Is that ANOTHER BIG BANG THEORY SPIN OFF???

    Profitable beyond belief.

  5. #ThursdayFiveList #TheFavFiveBand

Okay my picks make for like a groovy metalcore band, got real funk in the instrumentation, with Courtney who can do almost anything in front, and Will next to her ready to let loose an industrial shredder.

    Courtney LaPlante on Vocals: youtube.com/watch?v=zMnfkW9UZc4

Will Ramos also on Vocals: youtube.com/watch?v=VO3NSHk3wl0

    Will Swan on Guitar: youtube.com/watch?v=v3I9U85Yo9c

    Skylar Accord on Bass: youtube.com/watch?v=Ey7YErvP8wY

  6. #GroupMetalAOTY2024

Not married to this order because there's a bunch of stuff I still need to get to from 2024, most of what I listened to was from 2023, but Knocked Loose and BMTH are fixed, those were my favourite metal albums of the year, probably my favourite albums of the year.

    1. Knocked Loose - You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To
    2. Bring Me The Horizon - Post Human: Next Gen
    3. Bad Omens - Concrete Jungle [OST]
    4. I See Stars - SPLIT
    5. New Year's Day - Half Black Heart

  7. The new #BMTH album has really grown on me. Top 10 Statues That Cried Blood is definitely the sleeper hit of the album.

  8. While unconfirmed, #JamesSomerton has posted a suicide note on his locked Twitter account. There have been several attempts to reach out to him, seemingly none have succeeded. Lots of people are laying the blaming #HBomberGuy but I personally think this is unfair; Harry might have run the exposé, but the rest of the internet dogpiled without mercy. I sincerely hope we find James alive, but if not... We have to learn when to stop.

  9. @tomcapuder Look man, I don't mean to be a certain way but this is a weird exercise.

If you're looking to actually find religious folk to debate with zero of them use #theist but if this is just being provocative for the sake of it, right, can't stop you but... I dunno, you ever wonder why that's so much of what atheists do? You can only say 'not enough evidence for god' so many ways. The secular worldview is way more interesting than that, right? There's gotta be more to us than shock rock.

  10. #SonicPrime season 3 dropped and like... The wind is entirely out of the sails now. The show squandered the opportunity to show more interesting multiversal concepts and is kinda stuck with its slate. I want to LOVE Sonic Prime but it's just... Kinda okay? Kinda boring at some bits TBH. I think they should have contained the show to the world where the Eggmen won. Pirate and Jungle world are blah as all hell.

  11. @catsalad As per specificity scores, .one is a class that applies generally while #wisely is a unique identifier, therefore by following cascade rules, the only correct answer is #wisely as it has the higher specificity score. The other choice would apply unintended styling to the DOM.

  16. #Paladins

Used to play this a lot in uni, haven't played for years. Does it hold up?

I had Edge open and my PC BSOD'd so bad sign. Once I rebooted and only had the game open, smooth sailing. It's still really fun!

    Visuals: Okay
Performance: Kinda bad actually? Worse than it should be. Still playable though.
    Gameplay: Super fun, very tiring
Scumbaggery: You get free Pride profile icons and all the champs can be earned in game, but like... Still MTX hell.

  17. Saw someone else do it so here's #7AlbumsToKnowMe

    1. Sempiternal - Bring Me The Horizon
    2. Tickets To My Downfall - MGK
    3. Everything Means Nothing - Blackbear
    4. Montero - Lil Nas X
    5. Trench - Twenty One Pilots
    6. From Death To Destiny - Asking Alexandria
    7. Scott Pilgrim Vs The World, The Motion Picture Soundtrack

Was weirdly hard to put together but yeah, this is the one, this is the list.

  18. @collin I hate to say it but I think being on Mastodon might make us all dorks. Also not doung it inline makes me feel like a boomer who uses hashtags as an opportunity to like, post slogans?

  19. Okay here's a thing I need explained to me; You can verify yourself by putting an element on your website which corresponds with something on your masto profile.

What is to stop say, a bad actor, from using wix or github pages or something to verify themselves, appear legitimate, and only be found out by the people who bother to check the link? Keep in mind I don't think I've seen any verified profiles on here.
