If you're gonna talk about overrated things it really starts and ends with #InAndOut. By no means is it bad but its the worst of the fast casual places and fans act like its the holy grail of burgers. Burger is OK, the fries suck. Five Guys, Shake Shack, etc all do it better. But damn do InAndOut fanboys act like InAndOut is the best thing ever.

Oof, thought I'd give #littlemermaid a shot tonight and getting some strong uncanny valley vibes immediately.
Makes me think of the recent Mortal Kombat movie. Is the CGI terrible? No, but its not good enough either. Something about it just konstantly (see what i did there) feels off.
Feels like animation or practical effects would have been a better take. CGI isn't cutting it.

I'm watching "The Black Demon" which is about people trapped on an oil rig with a giant shark circling and I love how ignoring environmental concerns is blamed for a megalodon attacking because ignoring environmental issues would be expected to cause a giant extinct shark to attack.
Like this guy is shitty but... you don't expect being shitty is going to lead to a giant shark murdering everyone on the oil rig. That isn't reasonable. #TheBlackDemon

#himyf started rocky but it was really coming together in season 2. Not every sitcom starts great and its unfortunate when something that seems to be building towards that gets canceled too soon. Hopefully somewhere else picks this show up.
The Simpsons is a good example of this. Season 1 was pretty so-so, season 2 was vastly improved, and the next multiple seasons were some of the funniest tv on tv. It was given a chance to build to that. Himyf was absolutely getting better.

I watched the #SuperMarioBrothers movie today and it was pretty OK. Jack Black as Bowser was probably the best part, much of the rest was pretty forgettable. Still way better than the live action Mario Brothers movie we got last time they tried to adapt this game.
