It is horrible that parents are more than willing to put the life, health and safety of children (not only their own children) on the line.
In Germany a reduction of vaccination rates (especially the second dose) is noted.
Can’t believe our “civilisation” moves back to the dark times with increasing numbers of polio, pertussis, measles aso. because people don’t trust science.

@kityates Even way smaller, but thank you also from my side. The deafening silence is hard to bear in the face of what #ElonMask is doing to science and its position in society. As the code of conduct is pretty concise and doesn't leave a lot of room for negotiations, I was more optimistic, to be honest 😭

@kityates My assumption was always, that members of Royal Society are scientists. Well, obviously not. I can't see at all, how #musk could be seen as "scientist".
Well, I don't know, if his role as #Sperminator could be seen as "science", but I doubt that very much.

@kityates How? The decision to give oxygen is based on an assessment of the patient's need. So do they expect paramedics to decide that some patients might be OK without it? Or some might die anyway so why waste it? Who decides? And if hospital staff dealing with that patient down the line think that their outcome was adversely affected by failure to give oxygen in the ambulance, who bears the guilt? #NHS #AmbulanceService
