I must wash my mouth out with soap!!
In my latest blog post about zsh I erroneously stated that while VS Code supports changes to the terminal, RStudio doesn't.
That's a load of horse shit. Of course it supports it, and it takes all of 3 clicks to make zsh the default terminal, including with your Oh My Zsh setup etc.

I see that “AI psychosis” has already lost its original meaning. People have AI psychosis now when they:
- Don’t share my view of acceptable risk
- Don’t check code as rigorously as they used to
- Rely on LLMs to get anything done
- Don’t have a good understanding of codebases anymoreThis is reductive, but psychosis is more like experiencing a break in reality. I know it can be scary to see programmers you know doing things that are riskier, technically worse than before, seemingly deskilling, or even morally inconsistent. But psychosis? Maybe we reserve that for people experiencing paranoid delusions of being assassinated thanks to Grok’s catgirl avatar?

Anyone know of a function dependency graph visualiser for Python that does the same thing(ish) as foodwebr for R? https://github.com/lewinfox/foodwebr
Everything I've found so far do module dependency graphs (e.g. https://github.com/gauge-sh/tach), which are cool, but I'd really like to get a graph of **function** dependencies, to see more finely "who calls who".

A little known fact about the R programming language. People think that it’s named as a playful take on S, or the names of the creators.
Actually, its the two ‘r’s from transgender, which when combined, form the powerful uppercase ‘R’. Ihaka and Gentleman knew that there would always be trans users and contributors and they were equally as important as everyone else. Maybe more important (they thought trans people might have secret magical powers that could one day be combined to overthrow the Galactic Empire).

Just finished #PlanetOfLana 2, on the Switch 2. Super beautiful. Loved the story, the animation, art, music. Some decent little puzzles in there. But damn, a cliffhanger ending!? Will we have to wait another 3 years for the next bit?
