If you're watching Tubi in a web browser, using Firefox with the uBlock Origin ad-blocking extension stops all ads.

If you're watching Tubi on something like a Smart TV, I think you need an external device, running something like Pi-hole or AdGuard

I'm getting the "approve this Coinbase transaction" messages again, so I guess I'm on a scammer list?
I'm curious if it's just through data harvesting phone numbers, or if someone is using my name for their cryptocurrency account.
Rude of them either way.

OMG! I should add that to the proposalProbably #PhonographEmoji + 🐶 would be closest
#Unicode is working on a scheme to have emoji be reversible so you can make sure all the police-cars are chasing the right surfer instead of the other way 'round or whatever
So if you had a sitting dog, that might take care of the issue
But I don't know what other dog: 🐕 Dog2; 🐕🦺 Service Dog; 🦮 Guide Dog; or 🌭 Hot Dog; would fit as well as 🐶 for ol' Nipper

Is there a program equivalent to
printf("Hello World!\n");
in Geogebra?
And if so, is there a tutorial or book that teaches to poor dumb programmers with examples like that?

Is it just me, or is everyone else who uses YouTube seeing ads for what looks like failed Kickstarter projects?
The pressure washers and the very slim air conditioner in particular.

My calculus book dates from the seventies, and introduces derivatives at page 90.

That's very good. I like mini-docs like that.
I don't have anything comparable, so I'll just post this link to a mashup I came across while looking up theme songs I liked.
I had no idea who Pierre Henry was.

You can choose one desktop for your collection of Linux and BSD computers, a mix of laptops and desktops. Your only choices are MATE or Xfce. All of your computers will use that same desktop.
Your computers are at most ten years old, and their operating systems are no more than a year old.
What do you install?
Feel free to add nuance below.

Nice. Every twenty years or so I see balanced ternary computing pop up in theoretical designs, and I always get hopeful that we'll get a device, even if it was specialized and limited in scope.

#ScienceFiction #ScienceFictionShows
I read Hal Clement's Needle long before I saw movies like The Hidden or shows like Stargate SG-1, and the theme of the alien among us (because it's literally in us) has always stuck with me. Sometimes the story is a mystery, oftentimes it is horror.
In this case, I suspect it's more philosophical horror. The alien in question is to spy on another, to find out what it is researching, with the usual "succeed, or never return" consequence.
