  2. I'm booked for #RustConf in #Montreal!

Looking forward to seeing @herberticus 's presentation! (I'm not sure how to reserve my seat for the workshop so save me one ok? 😂)

Lots of booking issues with #AirCanada on their website (had to book through Kayak), and #Sonder (like #AirBNB) requires photo id verification via something called #Persona. Is that normal for #Canada?

Hope to see other 🦀Rustaceans there too!

  4. 1 Hour Dive into #Asynchronous Rust - by Herbert Wolverson:

    farside.link/https://www.youtu
    (or YT: youtube.com/watch?v=0HwrZp9CBD)

This is probably the best end-to-end overview of #async #Rust you can get! So much valuable information packed into 1 hour. Love it!

Thank you @herberticus for this excellent presentation. 🙏

Boost this to the moon, my fellow Rustaceans! :ferris: :boost_love: The video is one month old and only has ~1,500 views.😬

  5. Finally fixed: "the random waves of suck" bug that's plagued @LibreQoS for 3 years.
I wrote up the journey - paying tribute to Dave, who battled this with me from
    the start.

  10. We've been having fun working on the next @LibreQoS release. We're testing real-time Quality of Outcome tracking, a heatmap-based summary, and a modernized UI. It's using less CPU, less RAM and is really snappy!

  11. Wow, I'm blown away - thank you so much for the warm response! Advanced Hands-on Rust is atop the publisher's best sellers list already!

I've started work on the next beta release - fixing bugs, improving code, updating the Bevy version and tuning the next chapter. (Beta readers get every update including the final release)

  12. My new book – Advanced Hands-on Rust – is now in beta! Intermediate to advanced Rust, writing games in the Bevy engine. Generics, traits, macros, library creation and more. pragprog.com/titles/hwmrust/ad

@pragprog beta books get you most of the e-book now (sadly, we can’t ship out a new print for every beta!), and each subsequent release as the book advances towards final release. You can also file bug reports and help make the book better.

#slijmzwam
