  1. #hamchallenge week 44: Receive a #QRSS signal on the HF bands. Check out qrss.org/ for a list of frequencies and fire up a QRSS grabber software like Argo (I2PHD), Spectrum Lab (DL4YHF), LOPORA (PA2OHH) or QrssPiG (HB9FXX). There are signals transmitting 24/7 on most bands that are easy to copy. #hamradio

  7. @TheVintNerd still have some in my old synth's RAM extension card.

  8. seems to have 2 modes of transmission at the same frequency. Here the 2nd mode.
Got it 4 times in 2 days:
Twice in the ~4MHz wide mode in the morning and twice in the ~300kHz narrow mode in the afternoon.

  9. Interesting SoC is coming: masters.com.pl/en/stm32wl-micr
For now I still prefer the easily available boards with a SX127x as they not only cover 70cm band but also, ever with more impedance mismatch, the 2m HAM band.
This new STM32 integrates a SX126x so for HAMs only covers 70cm.

    Still interesting.

  10. @adingbatponder
Waiting for mine in Switzerland around February... :)

My guess why PRC is far ahead on us on and especially is related to the restrictions imposed on them regarding Arm64. Risc-V is a way around for them.

Sad that this seems to be one of the main drivers for open hardware.

Hope to see an ecosystem grow around RiscV here.

For now i can only experiment on Alibaba D1 Soc / T-Head C906 based chinese boards...

  11. Probably someone believed the satellite's transmission wasn't sonatic enough and transmitted some music close to it's frequency.

  12. News boards, now need time to install on them. One , one .

One would be planned to run a @gitlab runner once they support RiscV, the other and .

  13. After almost 3 years of non-stop outdoor installation my LaNA mounted on my Stanisłav Palo UHF turnstile antenna seem to have died...
With all my stations now out of order, time for some serious maintenance.

  14. With the station unmounted, i take the opportunity to put the receiver and antenna on a lichee RV dock SBC running my own experimental on it.

runs fine and reports many TPMS valves as well as many occurrence of the same generic remote control.
