@floehopper @zenspider 🤺 yard-fence 0.9.0 is released.
yard-fence is a small Ruby gem for cleaner YARD docs: it preprocesses Markdown/TXT files into `tmp/yard-fence/`, converts brace syntax that YARD can mistake for links, and restores normal `{}` in the generated HTML so examples stay copy-pastable.
This release moves documentation processing to explicit Rake integration and removes global `at_exit` post-processing. :ruby:

There does now appear to be a *public* page at least, but no RSS/Atom feed... 🫠 (bit of a weird URL too!)

Imagine if the UK had pursued renewable energy as aggressively as Spain has over the last 10 years...
Instead we're having stupid arguments laced with disinformation about whether pursuing net zero will cost consumers more...

Lovely walk around St Martin’s today with lunch in the sun and out of the wind on the terrace at the Seven Stones Inn. This stunning beach is Little Bay (with Great Bay in the background) on the North coast.

Endured a rough passage to the Isles of Scilly this morning on the “vomit comet” to be rewarded with a blustery but sunny evening walk along Par Beach on St Martin’s / Breghyek.

TIL Ruby's Exception class has a `detailed_message` method which includes both the exception class and its message:
begin
1 / 0
rescue => e
puts e.detailed_message # => "divided by 0 (ZeroDivisionError)"
endI've lost count of the number of times I've implemented something very similar myself! 🤦

I've signed this open letter asking NHS England to keep its code open.
> Code paid for with public money should be open to the public. This principle is enshrined in the UK Government Design Principles and the NHS Service Standard. It is now being walked back. We are signing this to restate the case.
Please consider signing, particularly if you've ever contributed to UK public-sector software.
