Does anyone now get #Fedora Messaging Notifications (#FMN) from #copr?
There was something wrong with them, but @abompard thankfully tried to fix that after an inquiry on matrix: https://github.com/fedora-copr/copr/pull/3099
But from testing it seems things are still broken even for the default case[1]. But I wonder if maybe my testing was flawed…
[1] e.g. where no lookup for namespaced user names is needed, as that's known to still be broken https://github.com/fedora-copr/copr/issues/3176)

There was this lady in the coffee shop this morning with a bag her 10 yr old daughter made that had some art on it that reminded me of the CoreOS logo. What do you think?

Fedora CoreOS :coreos: is a great container first server distro.
I've enjoyed the experience, starting from, creating the igntion file for install, right through to setting up podman containers for my services.
I now have
*Opencloud
*Caddy reverse proxy
*a ejabberd xmpp server
*Pihole
*Immich
*Jellyfin Media serverall running using podman quadlets with Vaultwarden and possibly Joplin to come.

Atomic systems like #FedoraAtomicDesktops, #HeliumOS, #uBlue or #NixOS with "does-it-work"-checks are great here.
Snapshots like in #OpenSUSE #Tumbleweed are a big benefit but not as useful

The advantage of CoreOS is that it updates itself.
The disadvantage is that it updates itself. We had a problem with a client's CoreOS machine and before I could get to fix it, the machine had magically updated and fixed itself.

So... instead of going back to #FedoraAtomic, I'm going over to... #lix. Well tomorrow I'm going over to.
I'm on #NixOS now and the idea of going from #nix to lix intrigues me. It's just a change of the underlying tooling that interacts with the nix store, but I'm fascinated by the idea that you can compose NixOS using whatever tooling that works with it.
The nix store is then fully decoupled from nix and nixpkgs, making it more a competing standard against #ostree.

@capriciousday fellow @fedora nerd here.
Now is a great time to give one of the Universal Blue flavors a try if you haven't already!
I'm running https://getaurora.dev and it is pretty awesome.
