I have a stack of custom designed holiday cards in front of me - 120 in all. I have a document with all the addresses to which I will send them. There's a fountain pen with ink selected to match the cards. And ridiculous sealing technology. I have stamps both domestic and international. And I will spend days and weeks writing notes to the people I love. It makes me happy.

Our family is spending Thanksgiving at an Airbnb in Maine doing squat. We brought books and art supplies (and Switches). We also, in a family first, brought our cats. They were troopers on the long drive up and extremely interested in all the cool smells and hiding places in a pet friendly cabin!
