This widely circulated container ship photo in the Strait of Hormuz (via @AssociatedPress) gives me pause. Not knowing where it's bound or from, or what is being carried, I must consider all the *stuff* I think I need and the global costs to sustain a consumption lifestyle.

Average bus stop shelter (and sidewalk) around here10 days after a winter storm - big by local standards but not unmanageable. This is Suffolk Transit (Suffolk County #LongIsland #NewYork). The building managers of the abutting property cleared the sidewalk on one side of the property per local codes, but not this side. They're not responsible for the shelter. Will update when story is published.

Frankly, surprised how similar they tend to be. The #BigBox-ification of Christmas?
It's a yard with every indication of being used and enjoyed, as indicated by the trampled texture of the snow and toys left outside, and qualifies for inclusion because of its overall cluttered look with all the non-Christmas stuff.ESM
