    Finding your way through the maze of portals and processes is a real challenge in the first few semesters. However, the study content is of a much better quality than I would have thought. The last three semesters and the supervision of the master's thesis at the chair "Multimedia and Internet Applications" were excellent.

  10. One of my most exciting findings as part of my master's thesis at @fernunihagen : subjects were asked to categorize newspaper articles. One group received a recommendation from an AI, another group did not. In my research hypothesis, I had assumed that AI-assisted subjects would be significantly faster. It turned out to be exactly the opposite.

    The AI recommendation makes the subjects slower.

  14. My dad is over 60 and accordingly did not grow up with the digital world. When he has to send an e-mail with an attachment, he first sends it to me as a test run and calls me to see if everything has been delivered. 😅 📬
